After 50+ years of Servicing Northeast Georgia and some customers beyond, Charles Hill Electrical Contracting, Inc. is closing.

With the retirement of Donald Roberts in 2024, the ever-increasing difficulty of hiring qualified help to staff our small business, and finally the loss of our next generation of leaders to aspirations of having their own businesses, I feel it best to submit to God and move forward with faith in a new direction and path that he has laid before me.  Effective November 4, 2024, I will start a new position with Caldwell Electric out of Gainesville, Georgia.  It is with sorrow that we close, but with great anticipation, that I, and those still helping me finish contracts, embrace the future.  While our office will no longer be staffed full time, feel free to reach out to me or Justin Roberts via cell phones if you have a warranty or current project issue.  I have provided contact info below.

I want to thank my father for setting such a hard-working example for me, and for having the patience to train me to be an electrical contractor.  It was my extreme pleasure to work with my father for 13 years.  It was also such a blessing to have the opportunity to purchase the business in 2008 an continue his legacy of Integrity and Quality for another 17 years.  I thank all my former employees for teir participation in this journey.  Especially Donald Roberts and and Doug Seagraves, who served as invaluable Foremen during my 30+ years with the company.  I also want to thank Justin Roberts for all his help finishing the last of the contracts. It have had the privilege of watching Justin grow from green helper to superior electrician.  There have been several others who hve left a lasting impression on my life, and I thank them also for what I learned from their time with our company.  I want to say thank you to my brothers, Paul and Scott, for both the times you helped me and for the times you offered guidance and encouragement.  I also want to thank my sister, Rebecca, for providing essential financial guidance and for keeping our taxes and bookkeeping on track.  I could not have done it without her.  Thanks not only to the many great office and field employees I have had the privilege of working with over the years, but to the many customers that have been faithful and loyal.  Several are not only customers but friends.

Thanks again to all who have contributed to our success and enjoyment at Charles Hill Electrical.  It has been our pleasure.
